Panama activities

Panama Church planting map as of June 2011

The month of June came and went quite quickly for us. It was a great month for us, there is quite a bit going on here right now!

We’ve worked alongside our Panamanian partners, worked with some volunteer teams from the states, and we traveled to Guatemala for some meetings.

Our time in Guatemala was pretty neat. The meetings were held in a town called Antigua, and IMB personnel from Central America and the Caribbean attended. It was great to meet others we had not met before, and reconnect with some friends. It was a big encouragement to see what all God is doing in and through the lives of a lot of different missionaries in this area of the world.

We stayed in Guatemala for a few extra days as well, and that was great. We spent some time with some good friends, and did some tourist type things with them there. It’s neat to see how life is in a different country and it’s always great getting to reconnect with good friends!

Our work with volunteer teams and our Panamanian partners has gone very well also. We ask that you pray for work that is being done in the following areas of Panama City: Las Acacias, Boca La Caja, San Francisco, Villa Graciela, Chanis, Curundu, Bethania, Punta Pacifica, Santa Fe, and Praderas del Rocio.

God is at work here in Panama and it’s been amazing just to be a little part of that. We ask that y’all join us in our work through prayer. Specifically there are some volunteer groups down here right now working in two or three different areas. Pray that they will communicate God’s love effectively. Pray also for our church planters and Panamanian partners who are working alongside the volunteer teams and will have quite a bit of follow up to do afterwards! Thanks for the prayers.

We appreciate you keeping up with us. We’ve posted some new photos. So check out the photo page when you get a chance.
